If they're too big, then resize them or upload them to a hosting site like Imageshack. Then just post a link here to those images.

Hi

Your comment above causes me some concern.
Are you sure that your capture properties including the audio options have been selected correctly?

As you are capturing from an analogue source, the C100 capture card, the video studio capture properties require some attention.
This is usually a manual approach, selecting certain capture properties, we access these by hitting the “options” button, then selecting “Video and Audio Capture Property Settings
The audio input source can usually be selected here.

I am surprised that you say you do not know where to change the bit rate?
That’s not really important, it’s the Audio selection that needs looking at……….

Can you view this guide, it shows the process for EasyCap capture, but the approach should be similar for the C100.
The only difference will be the audio, you don’t use USB audio.

Your PC setup,
Are you able to set up the audio properties, there is usually two options to explore, one is the “volume” (what you hear out of the speakers, you can select several outputs) and the other is the recording option, you can only select one option, this has to be Line – In, If for instance “Mic” is selected then you will get no input from Line - In

Im 99% positive that its all set correctly. Capture card is set at the source, and line in is set in audio properties. Everything is the same as your video, however in the capture options in the audio tab, it doesnt allow me to select anything , it just says "pass through to sound card" which i mentioned the other forum
If it wasn't set up then i would not get any audio or visual in X4, common sense prevails.

Im thinking that it may be a Vista thing

Hi

First I apologise for ranting on about the Line-In issue…….last time I promise…

Viewing your PC’s Volume Controls, there is an option for selecting the Recording or “.HDAudio rear input” (as its named on my PC). Your pc and sound driver may be different but will have a similar name.

Usually Video Studio gives you the option to select Line-In, if you don’t see this option and only seeing “pass through “ then you can select it from the PC’s volume/recording controls.

The Recording Input has several choices (Mic, CD Audio, Stereo Mix, Line-In) but only one can be selected.

You may of course have Line – In selected but you must confirm that this is so.

Have you seen this window before or a similar one?

Yeah, i do have that, and as stated in the other post, it doesnt matter which one i set to the default etc, it makes no difference, I have tried all of them.
Im not having a moan by the way, i know im a pain in the arse, and Ulead SE11 is a pain in the arse. Ive uninstalled it now as I just need to de-stress.

This should be the link to an album i have made : http://s1096.photobucket.com/albums/g32 ... n11/ulead/

Hi

And I thought I was being a pain nagging about Line – In :) :)

Which incidentally does not show as being selected in any of the images you have provided.

Two of the images does show the Recording Tab, in one but the “Line” is selected (whatever that may be?) and the other "CD Audio" is selected.
But as for "Line-In", you don’t show it selected.

Set the recording option as "Line In"
There should be a cable from the C100 to Line-In, your images shows it as Blue on one end, where does the other end go, is that green?

I have set it as Line In, and that didnt work either. Yet as i mentioned, it WORKS with X4, its ONLY SE11 that doesnt. The Blue goes to the audio out jack in the c100
