How can I view ISO files on my disk?

Post by ruggy1 »

I have many ISO files hanging around that I forgot to rename and so do not know what they are - I have tried all the viewers etc but no luck, so without burning each one to a DVD, is there any way I can see what they are?
Thanks

There are some tools like "Daemon Tools", Alcohol 120%, DVD Shrink that will load the *.iso dvd image. The first two I mentioned let you mount and play them (using a virtual optical drive).

NOTE: one of the software packages on my machine had a conflict with Daemon Tools, so I uninstalled it. So proceed with caution...

Also have a look for a package called DCS - DVD Copy Suite. Dont have an address unfortunately. It can up to 8 virtual drives, and mounting and unmounting images is really easy.
