I've been looking for some new video software for a while and this was highly recommended, so I downloaded a trial version. I imported the clips I planned to use, but they are all extremely jerky - they show about one frame per second instead of the usual 29 of my camera (correct me if I'm wrong - I'm not an expert on this by any means). They played fine on the computer when I opened them with QuickTime, it's just on the movie player.
It's impossible to edit anything because it's not like watching a video, it's like watching random screenshots. Is this something to do with my computer? Is it the program itself? If so, is there a setting I can change or something I can do? It looks like promising software, I'm just not able to use it yet.
Just downloaded the trial version, video files are jerky?

Hi ... and welcome to the forums!
Unfortunately, you have not provided sufficient information on which to base a sensible answer. You wonder whether it might be, amongst other things, your computer set-up, but you haven't even filled in your computer details in your profile (quite apart from suggesting that the operating system is on drive B:\ which is simply impossible). But that is why we ask people to fill in computer details, so we don't have to keep asking what they are when users post problems.
There is a sticky post at the top of this forum called, obviously enough, Please Read This Before Posting.
Have a look at it at http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?p=41454#p41454 then get back to us with the information requested, and hopefully someone may be able to help.
