DMF_TEMP - SAFE TO CLEAR?

Post by WarningU2 »

New to this product (which has worked flawlessly) but I've noticed (as I burn DVD's) I'm seeing a large number of files in the following folders:
D:\My Documents\Corel DVD MovieFactory\7.0\DMF_TEMP\CvtedTitle
D:\My Documents\Corel DVD MovieFactory\7.0\DMF_TEMP\MENU_RESOURCE
D:\My Documents\Corel DVD MovieFactory\7.0\MENU_RESOURCE

They appear to be remains of DVD's I've created i.e Mar23_2237x0056DE01F8400.mpg as found in MENU_RESOURCE. Some are huge!

I've searched the forum here an it looks like it you can clear these folders but I just want to confirm the above are safe to clear, and also ask the SME's here if there is an option somewhere to prevent this build up of files?

Yes it's alright to delete the files in those folders. Do you think that you will want to burn additional discs of this project in the future? If so you need to make sure you save your project, which is a *.dwz file, or Create DVD folders (VIDEO_TS), or create an ISO file. You will need to keep the VIDEO_TS folder and all the files inside it. Then you will not need to rebuild menus, just burn the VIDEO_TS folder and files.
