I have end unistall completely vstudio

I have reinstalled program but still the only program (without any patch and upgrade (service pack ) do not work in capturing

What do I have to to?

do I have to install everithing? Update ,patch, ecc, more title end stiles)

but it is not possible to understain bettere the message ? what kind of error ?

If I work with (logitec cam on top of the monitor (i.I I use it for sky) the capture work fine but If I open Camera PLAY at once the program crash

Error messages are intended for the developers/programmers to understand, not for us.

Reading this thread, where you have tried another specialized program, WinDV, and it too does not recognize your Firewire camcorders, tends to point directly to either a hardware problem/failure or there is a problem with Windows 7 and Firewire. It seems that they (MicroSoft) replaced the older IEEE-1394 (Firwire) drivers. Read this Article.

If you have a friend or family member that has a computer running Vista or WinXP, and they had VS or WinDV installed, I would guess that you would not have any problems capturing your video.

I found this on another forum:

Right click on the firewire host controller entry in the device manager and choose Update Driver Software

Browse my computer for driver software

Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer

Select 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy) and then Next

So it seems that the problem is onix81 wants VS to work as well! Personally I think WinDV makes a better job of it being specialised capture software so why he doesn't settle for that I can't quite understand!

Oops, didn't see that where WinDV worked. I agree that WinDV is much better for transferring video. I use it a lot. I like being able to provide a meaningful name to my files. Piano Recital.avi is easier to recall what it is about, where uvs010101.avi causes my head to hurt trying to remember what the heck I recorded..

yes all other programs capture video from camera perfectly (Windv, powerdirector, pinnacle 7,)

I think I have to give up only with Ulead VideoStudio prox3

I will use windv for next time

another question ? do you thing that is good to upgrade to prox4 not for this probleb but for general convenience ?

I do not need now to use it .....but I would like only to understain why it has stopped to work.

Anyway I think that all you have gave me te opportunity to solve le problem so I have to say tank you to everybody

On this long test........ I Have istalled Trial version (30 days) powerdirector 9 - ando also pinnacle

for me powerdirector is quite a good program , easy and complete . It appare also more stable than uleadvideostudio prox3
what do you think about?

I do not like so much pinnacle

Hi

On the good side you can capture using WinDV then edit with X3

The MSVCR80.dll has been posted before without a solution, search the forum and you will find a few posts.
I’m not convinced that it is directly related to Video Studio even though the program is showing the problem.

The language barrier has not been a problem, I find your English very good and have understood your posts without difficulty.
No need to close the post, without a reply it will sink to the bottom of the pile……

Im currently having the same problem. I need to do a clean uninstall. When I click on the link below that someone posted, it asks me for a username and password. I entered my corel username and password and it wont work and then I lose the web page. Also, when I go into uninstall or change program in my control panel and try to uninstall it there, some distorted red writing comes up. It does ask me if i want to remove program and I click yes. Then some really disorted red writing comes up and I think its saying that it did not work. The program is still present as well. Any help would be great. Thanks,
