On my discs when stop is pressed one time, the Corel Win DVD 10 screen comes up. Pressing play then launches VTS_01_1.vob
Shouldnt it resume where it left off, or jump to the root menu instead of going to the beginning of the first video?

I notice on MOST discs Win DVD will play the VTS_01_1.vob after pressing stop and play. On other discs it will jump to the animated menu, and that is VTS_02.
Neither is designated as first play in the authoring. What is WinDVD looking for when Play is pressed after Stop has been pressed?
I have a client that would like us to make a DVD that will jump back to the menu instead of the VTS_01. It can be done, but alas the solution is illusive.
Non of the other pro forums have been able to find the answer. Challenge!

I have checked the WinDVD Pro 2010 and it does not have the ability to save the last timeline when the video has stopped. When you Stop the movie, soon you click on Play button once more. It will go back to the start timeline.
