multiprocessor with VS8

The question is:
does a multiprocessor board ( 2 * 1,8 GHz Processors) with
windows 2000 professional improve the performance for
Video Studio 8, or should I better use only one fast ( 3 GHz ) Processor.

Thomas,
I vote for the fast CPU. If it is a P4 with hyperthreading is enabled, you actually have two execution units on the chip that may offer some additional headroom.
