Can't burn project to DVD

Post by John »

I want to burn my project I have created on VSX4 to a DVD. I don't want to create a menu or add chapters or anything else, I just want to burn my project to the DVD. I have followed the instructions in the user guide to bring my project in to be burnt, but the next button remains greyed out so I can't go to the next step to enable it to be burnt. Can any one tell me what I need to do or what I have done wrong? John.

Have you unticked 'Create Menu' on that page? If that does not work, then trying clicking Alt+N. And if that does not work, I have no real idea what might be going on.

What exactly have you imported to the burn module John - vsp, mpg, avi, mov etc.

Hi

I assume you will only have one video clip in the timeline.........

Make sure that “Use First Clip as Introductory video” is NOT selected.

Thanks Ken, Brian and Trevor. I imported only vsp. My problem was I ticked the 'use first clip as introductry video' box. Once I unchecked that it was plain sailing. That is misleading and a trap for young players. John.

Yes it can be. Introductory clips are those that play when you first insert the disc to the tray, before any menus, or any other clips. It is used for say, copyright warnings, that the FBI will come get you..
