OME paintshop pro 3

Post by Akitam »

When I purchased my computer it came with paintshop pro 3 installed, a step up from the x2 I was using. The motherboard and hard drive bit the dust and now HP is repairing. The problem is that the the software was a promo from Sam's club and will not be reinstalled by HP. I have the license and registration numbers for it, but I do not have the software, How can I obtain the software as this was not a trial version rather a full version of the program and have been using it for nearly a year.

Welcome to the forums,

Have you tried downloading the trial version, and trying your serial number with it? You purchased the computer from Sam's Club, and it is a Compaq or HP, therefore HP doing the repair? I know when a PC crashes, and requires a tech to restore or rebuild it, they may wipe the system drive to install the OS. You might try phoning Corel, and pleading your case to see if they may be able to provide a replacement, which most likely be an ESD (download) version.

I'll give it a try downloading the trial. I can only hope. As far as pleading with Corel, well that's another story.
