I confess--I used the batch program to add EXIF captions to photos because the date taken wasn't added properly, so when using VSP X3 or X4 the clips did not sort properly. However, now I realize I got visible captions on the photos themselves, and I do not know how to remove them--ideally also with a batch program. Dumb me!
Any ideas you have would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: How to Remove EXIF Captions on Photos
If you used the EXIF Caption script then.....they are part of the photo now. Now if you saved them as PSPImage files then removing the captions is as easy as removing the caption layers.
If, however, you saved them as regular JPG files....the only way to "remove" them is to go in and manually try to remove them using cloning and similar methods to overwrite the new image data because the pixels are there they aren't layered anymore so there is no easy way to simply remove them.
And this is why you always batch convert with copies and preferably to their own folder. You want to make sure the changes you make are not on the original files.

Re: How to Remove EXIF Captions on Photos
JanPG,
To remove visible captions, cloning and retouching tools are your choice. And I guess, batch operation is impossible this time.
And to remove EXIF, you need specialized softwares, such as EXIFCleaner: http://www.superutils.com/products/exifcleaner/ Just apply it after processing a picture in PSP. And by the way, the remover supports various photographic metadata formats, not only EXIF, and can process photos in a batch mode.
