Runtime Error R6025

Post by Sa1 UK »

Hi I am new to using paintshop pro x3 This error keeps occurring when trying to use the Local Tone Mapping it has happend on another option but cant remember what one but will keep trying to find what else gives the error.

I did search the forum for an answer and 2 threads came up but nothing with a solution so I did a search and Microsoft if my understanding is right its a programming error within the application in this case Paintshop Pro X3, Here is the link to Microsoft where I read the posts. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/125749

If someone has managed to get around this I would love to know, Oh Also I have updated Paintshop Pro X3 but the error still comes up.

Thanks in Advance

Steve.

Make sure that you install all of the patches, and I'd suggest that you install all of them in order too. There was a common problem with the program when it first came out that the first patch fixed. It sounded much like this, if not just like this. The problem was when you had the option to view the adjustment on the image active it crashed the program. If you were lucky enough to uncheck that option then the program ran pretty well.

Don't assume that patch #4 includes the previous 3, although I don't think we've heard anything officially on that yet.
Regards, Dan

You don't need to install patch 1... it's included in patch 2. You need to install patches 2, 3 and 4 separately and in order.

@Sa1 UK

This proble doesn't appear generally and is no programming error (as the Microsoft wepage suggests)

Check your graphic card driver and download the latest version directly from the manufacturer's website or contact the Corel support.
