Hello
I have a Major problem recovering some files I simply cut and pasted into
a Data- Add (UDF 2.1) Formatted DVD-RW. The problem exists only for files whose names include toned Greek characters (EG: ά, έ) although they are perfectly legal for my Windows Version and the Ulead UDF driver didn't complain at all during the cut and paste process.
The files keep their space in the DVD and are visible in the explorer as icons and are propably written but they are unaccessible.
Trying to do anything with them gives the message "The file does not exist"
And of course they were deleted from their source .
I think this is an unacceptable situation and a major program malfunction (concidering IT accepted them for writing but doesn't read them)
I wonder is there a Way Out ?(The files are many and Important)
Thanks
UDF Filesystem Problem
