ripple edit/placing clip in middle?

Post by brucefl »

Hello,

Still working on my project, and should of done it the other way first.

I need to place a clip in the middle of a project that is done. Can I click ripple editing then place the clip in the middle and have all of the title track move with the clips that will be sliding to the end?
Thought I would ask before moving things around.
Or can I put the clip in where it has to be, then hit ripple editing and slide all the title track where they should be all at once?
I have not done to much with ripple editing, guess it is a good way to start.
thanks,
Bruce

Hi Bruce

Yes, I would recommend that you click on the Ripple editing button before adding or doing anything to your already finished video project. Ripple Editing allows you to insert clips while automatically moving other clips (including empty spaces) aside, to make room for it on the Timeline. Use this mode to maintain the original track synchronizations when inserting additional clips. :)
