VS X2 and iTunes

Post by British_eh »

Hi there,

Apparently there is an issue with the new edition of iTunes being compatible with X2. Which is the best edition of iTunes ( date) to download to be compatible with VS X2?

Cheers,

iTunes or QuickTime? AFAIK iTunes has nothing to do with VS.

Hi

welcome to the forums

If you are using the latest version of Quick Time and you are experiencing crashes of the program.
Then try installing an earlier version of QT.

If you are not having problems don’t change anything……….

Reverting to an earlier version of QT may affect I-tunes.

Hi there,

Thanks for your replies. I was not aware that quick time was involved but when I spoke with Corel, they mentioned that if you are adding a sound background, that newer additions of iTunes will not work with the older VS2.

I don't understand that. I have iTunes, updated to the latest, and very often use MP3s from iTunes in my videos and don't have any problems.

This thread should really be called VS X2 and QuickTime, as that can cause problems with certain video types, depending on what version of QT is installed.
