@Judie
Do you have by chance a neighbour or work colleague (I know it sounds strange) who could lend you another monitor with a different size?

Re: PSP X3 Activation Hardship
@Simone,
I would have only my old one that my husband uses. I have both PSP X2 and PSP 9 on my computer with this monitor right now. Are you saying that I need an old monitor to have this program? I hope not as I will be returning the new one. I will be calling Corel as soon as they open regarding this. I have so many medical issues and I am in so much pain from all the time I spent on here yesterday just trying to install a program...literally hours, that it is just not worth the update to me. No...I am not upset with you. Please don't take this personally. I know you are trying to help me. I thank you so much.

Right click on a blank part of the desktop, then choose "Personalize", and then click "Display Settings". Do you see "1440 by 900 pixels" in the Resolution section, and "Highest (32 bit)" under Colors?

Re: PSP X3 Activation Hardship
Hi,
I have just got off the phone from a Corel technician. I have done everything that I did yesterday...changing my current resolution of 1440 X 900 to the lowest it would go and trying to install. Got same error message. They had me go up one from the lowest and again, the same message. She has put me on hold two times while she got help from someone else and where we did the above. She finally asked if she could call me back so I wouldn't have to sit and wait for a reply to her. Soooo...even suggested I uninstall the trial program that was downloaded. I was ahead of her there as I HAD tried downloading that yesterday. Got the very same message I did from the disc. Somehow she was seeing that it had installed. Had to go to programs etc. etc. from control panel to find out it was as I told her. It did not install. I think I have tried every which way any one has suggested ... except for the old monitor..... and am beginning to think I may have a bad disc. I thank y'all so much for all the help you have given me on here, but if she doesn't have a solution when she calls back, it may be that I will return the program. This is supposed to be fun and I am in so much pain from sitting at this computer most of the day yesterday and now almost another hour and a half this morning & more to come later. I have Fibromyalgia to explain the pain. Sorry...I am just so discouraged from all this. Whoops...just started to say something and then wondered if that may be the problem. I have both Paint Shop Pro 9 from Jasc and Paint Shop Photo Pro X2 currently on my computer, with no conflict there. To be honest, I had just uninstalled my PSPP XI before I tried to install this new one. Thus, having had 3 programs on my computer at the same time did not present a problem so can't believe this would be any different. Now that I have probably confused y'all on top of talking your ear off, I thank you again.

Re: PSP X3 Activation Hardship
I have been reading thru post after posts, and so far I think this one is the closest to my issue.
My computer crashed,
I had stuff that was really old on there, anyway, I reinstalled my Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8, which I love. Registered it, says everything is good, but I still have the try and buy start srceen. I try to register again and it says I am already registered. I spent all weekend searching the web and found Corel had purchased Jasc. Ok, so I sent an email to support, they just sent me an email back, they informed me the software is to old and does not have any support. They suggested that I to come to this community for help.
I have Corel 4x and Adobe CS4, but the Jasc Paint shop pro, I have had that for such a long time, it was all I had when I first started playing with pictures. So I know the program pretty well. I really dont want to give it up. Any ideas as what to do?
I have Windows XP Pro.

Re: PSP X3 Activation Hardship
Welcome to the forums,
I have Jasc PSP 9, and don't get the constant register nag screen. When I first install it the screen will appear, but after that it no longer appears. In fact I think the url the registration link points to has been null for years now. So it really goes nowhere.
