Opening a project with DVD Factory 2010

Hi,

I first had Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Sometimes I could open a project in DVD Factory 2010. Mostly the system crashed.

Now I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I hoped things would be better now. When I open Corel DVD factory 2010 directly and click on "Project" on the left nothing happens?!

Does anyone now I to solve this problem?

Can you tell us if you are using Video Studio X3, then from Share Create Disc—choosing to open DVD Factory 2010.

If so Corel have provided DVD Movie Factory 7SE as a replacement.

Yes I have Corel VideoStudio X3. Yes, I also have DVD Movie Factory 7SE.

But I also like DVD Factory 2010 a lot.When I use share from VideoStudio X3, then I have no problems, but when I try to open an existing Project, then I get problems!:)

Well maybe I have to use only DVD Movie Factory 7SE:)

I hoped there was a solution for this.

Hello psychedalien,

There are are a lot of reason why this happens on DVD Factory 2010, however, you may want to reset the DVD Factory 2010 to its default state. Just follow the steps from this link: http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... y-defaults
