I have installed Video Studio 11 Plus on Windows 7 but the editing of video is very choppy.

Does this version work on Win 7?

No. The next version also didn't work properly with Win 7, though a patch was issued for it. X3 was the first actually written to work with Win 7.

If, however, you have a version of Win 7 which allows this, you could try running it in compatibility mode...
