Somewhat confused here...
I'm creating a project with some clips from a Gopro Hero HD (MPEG4 1280 x 720). The mic on the GoPro is pretty bad and I'm considering buying a voice recorder to compensate.
The unit records in mp3. Can these files be imported into the sound/music library, dragged into the timeline/project so I can render my project as MPEG4 for upload to YouTube or Vimeo?
Thanks~
mp3 with x3?

Re: mp3 with x3?
Yes they can. Please note, however, that some people have problems with MP3s. If that is your case I would suggest converting them to WAV files.

Re: mp3 with x3?
I wouldn't buy a sound recorder that recorded to just mp3, you may not notice much increase in quality. Look for one which offers a choice of recording and hopefully on that records to wav/ac3 initially.

Thank You Gentlemen!
I'm glad I checked back here before I rushed out and bought a recorder. I'll do a bit more investigation into this matter.
