There may be some compatibility issues between PSP 8 and Windows 7. I know some people have gotten it to work, some not, and some have it working "with issues." Officially, only X2 Ultimate and X3 are fully supported on Windows 7. For more information, see

You probably already do this, but make sure that your work computer has finished writing to the thumb drive before removing it. Use the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray to be sure, as Windows may still be writing to the thumb drive, behind the scenes, even though it appears that the file copy operation has completed. Here, I took particular interest in the fact that you said that sometimes all but one of the images would be readable. If the one that is not ok was the last one you copied to the thumb drive, that may point to the fact that the thumb drive was still in use when it was removed. Just a thought.

Try searching Google for
psp810enp. However, be careful where you download anything, and be sure to scan the download before using it, back up your files, and exercise the usual cautions. Stay away from the file sharing networks.

EDIT: Try the following link:
http://replay.waybackmachine.org/200809 ... 810enp.exe. I did just now, and the download started. (I killed it, because I don't need it.) However, the Internet Archive Wayback Machine is slow; you may have to wait a minute or two for each link to work, and you may have to try multiple times.
