What sort of monitor & graphics card do you have?

I'm thinking you will need to go to a higher resolution that the lowest recommended. 1680x1050 is the native resolution of my monitor with a Nvidia graphics card...as an example

What operating system are you running, WinXP, Vista, or Win7? To learn what video card you have;
1. Right-click on the My Computer Icon on your desktop, from the menu select Manage.
2. In the Computer Management window that opens, on the left side, select Device Manager.
3. In the right side, click on Display Adapters. It will probably have a + on it's left side, clicking it will expand it.
4. It should say something like Nvidia GeForce... What does it say.

Are you running a laptop or desktop? If it is a laptop you're basically stuck with what you have. I don't know of anyway to replace or place a video card in a laptop.

I looked up what the Trigger graphics adaptor is... it seems to be a VGA converter via USB. But I'm not convinced it's an on-board (to the motherboard) graphics adaptor.

Either way... you'll need to to also know what sort of monitor you have too.

This way you can figure out if you need to update both drivers for the monitor AND the graphics adaptor.

Before you go out buying a graphics card...you'll need to know if you have a spare slot on your mother board.

So, it looks like you need to get pretty intimate with your PC and learn about what you have. From there you can work out what your upgrade path is as it would seem this what you'll need to do.

But it seems strange that you have this resolution limitation on a PC that runs windows 7

Hello Wolfy215,

Can you try using these settings:
Screen resolution: 1024 x 768

Click on the MAKE TEXT AND OTHER ITEMS LARGER OR SMALLER then make sure you select "Smaller - 100% (Default)

While on the window to adjust the screen resolution, click on ADVANCED SETTINGS then click on MONITOR tab then make sure that screen refresh rate is at 60 Hertz, then COLORS set as True Colors (32 bit).

I did what you said to go to advanced setting, 60 hertz 32bits true color and I uncheck the box that said hide modes that this monitor cannot display. The screen resolution is 1024X 768 and it still don't work On my old computer I have these monitor. On the old computer the videostudio did work so I thing something is wrong with the computer. What I thing I might do is try to get my old computer running again. Thank everbody for the help.
