Field Order Question
Ok what field order should I use if I have used both analog and DV sources in the video. Upper or Lower?

DV is usually (always in the US) lower. Analog can be either, depending upon the capture device, CODEC, and such.
I'd likely try to capture analog as lower and use lower for the project.

I suspect that the right answer would be to determine the field order of all of your source material and if it is mixed, de-interlace it so you can then re-interlace with the correct field order. Other than trial and error, I am not sure there is a reliable way to tell what the field order is. If your source material comes from a DV camcorder, or if you're not sure, try "lower" first as advised above. If you find that your video flickers on playback it is probable that you have selected the wrong order.
Make short test clips of each of all of your source material and play them on your target.
