PSP x3 crashes when using some plug ins

Post by PSP_Nut »

Hi all,
I am an avid psp user and know my way around fairly well. But I have an issue I cannot seem to fix. When I am using certain plug ins, like Mura's copies, the program crashes. I have a brand new pc with windows 7. Anyone have any ideas on this? I use it all the time for scrapbooking layouts.
Thank you for your help,
PSP Nut

As I don't use PSPX3, I can't verify this, but have heard that some of the older plugins haven't been updated for use in Windows 7 by the developers.

You might like to ask the same question at The Plugin Site:

Hello PSP_Nut,

Where you are able to use that plugin before? You may want to check with the plugin's web site and check if it is compatible with PSP X3 also check if you have recently updated your PSP X3, like what Joelle some plugins no longer works on PSP X3 on Windows 7.

Unfortunately some stuff works and some stuff doesn't. IIRC Nik Colour Efex Pro 2 worked with X2 but crashes X3 for instance, although the updated Colour Efex 3 works fine.
