VS X4 trial version not playing well - why?
I have just downloaded the trial version of VS x4 (previously on V12 but was having issues downloading new music from itunes - would not recognise MP4 music, Corel support advised that I needed to upgrade). Anyway, the trial version has downloaded fine on both my laptops (4 year old using vista and brand new laptop using windows 7). My problem is that when I am editing my slideshow and playback the entire project, the music contines to play but the photo's don't keep up. Why is this? Also, I have tried editing a movie and have the same thing happen, the music plays but the video doesn't keep up and just goes blank on the screen. Any advise would be most helpful. Thanks!

The laptop you listed in your profile is at the minimum system requirements for VS X4 so I think it is most likely that the hardware is not powerful enough to preview in real time all that well.
Now using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
