Hi again,
I got a recommendation from Corel support to delete all files connected to my Videostudio X4 Pro and re-install the product.

I did the delete of the files but when inserting the disc for the re-installation I get the start screen but the installation does not start!
Any ideas to solve that problem?
Regards Lars Erik

Hi Trevor and thanks for your attention again,

The re-installation problem is solved and I have my X4 installed again but unfortunately the old 3D-problem remains.
No files, my own or the videoclips from X4 are converted to 3D when using that option.

When using another software (Movavi Video Converter 3D) there is no problem to achieve a 3D-version of the files.

Hi elpibeval

I will continue to help in any way I can, but as I cannot reproduce the problem I am at a loss as to what to suggest.
In the earlier posts I have suggested everything I can think of and still the problem persists.
Customer support may be the next option to use.

First after creating the 3D file, are you able to play it on your pc using another media player.

Just to summarize……….

1 / Try using the libraries video clips to convert to 3D, do they work?
2 / Reinstall VSX4 to these instructions

3 / Update Direct X, (DirectX Redist (June 2010)
A three part process, download file, run file to extract contents, run DXSETUP.exe

4 / have you installed any extra Codec Packs, these can cause some problems?

Hi lassegus--- elpibeval

Can you e-mail a sample 3D video.
Using the library samples create a 3D video, try to keep it small 5 seconds should do.
View my Quick Guides for my e-mail address.

If I can play the file then Video Studio is creating it correctly.

Are you able to play the files using another media player?

Hello Lars Erik

Thanks for the sample.

It shows as “white” which is I suppose a step forward.
Had I been able to play it then we would assume it is the playback problem, maybe graphic’s driver.
As I cannot play and only see white then it really has to be Video Studio, or something conflicting with the program.

I noticed from the properties that you had created a AVCHD video.
I had been trying standard DVD. I have run through several if not all HD options and cannot reproduce the “white”

I just don’t know what to suggest next other than a complete re-installation of all Corel and Ulead products.
Then purging the pc of all remaining Corel and Ulead files, other than your personal VSP’s that is.

You say you have reported this to Corel, Lets hope that Support comes up with a solution.
