I cannot download the components for 3D. The web links do not work. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks

Their smartdownload was offed by modern security protocols. So now you can download it from their website instead. Just download and run the corresponding exe files and the files automatically install.

Additional Component Installation

I tried to install additional component and I got the following error message on each installation file (C3DS1_Materials.exe, C3DS1_Preset2_E.exe...) :

Setup cannot find Ulead Cool 3D Production Studio Version 1.0 installed on your system.
Please make sure Ulead Cool 3D Production Studio Version 1.0 is installed before running Setup again.

Of course I've installed the software first and I'm a valid registered user.

I've had the exact same problem as bug. Please help! I've searched the forum and can't find an answer.

As bug said ...

I've never had this problem with Cool 3D PS, or Video Studio. I do get other errors, like the cab file is corrupt. What I've found is that Windows Installer constantly causes problems with Ulead products.

I've also went to disabling my antivirus, and firewall while installing one of Ulead's products. You might do a search on the forums, mainly Video Studio for Windows Installer. You should find some information on it.

You get this message when you have installed the trial version.
You should not get it with the purchased version
