I recently purchased a Sony ATRAC3 portable CD player with Sony's proprietory ATRAC3 software that allows up to 490 songs on one CD. It worked fine up until I tried to edit a video with Ulead VS9. It locked up the system when capture was selected. I then tried VS8, Move Factory 3 and 4 and finally MediaStudioPro. ALL locked up in capture mode. So did Adobe Premier Pro and Premier Elements.
Uninstalled SonicStage and most editors seem to have returned to somewhat normal operation. Have small problem with MV4, but it may be a built-in bug. Have reported this Sony problem to Ulead Tech Support.
