X4 titles in overlay track

Hi

Using Video Studio X4 I have noticed that I can insert a Title to the overlay tracks.
The initial title goes to the title track, but can be dragged to the overlay track.

I’ve had a look at the track manager and as expected there is still the option to use two title tracks.
Even so the ability to use the overlays for titles is very interesting.

Yes, you can add titles to any video track, including the Main video track. Also you can apply Transitions to those titles.

Trevor -- you may recall a recent posting in this regard from IIRC one of our Dutch users who was puzzled by Corel's suggestion that there were in effect 9 title tracks in X4, when he could see only 2. Your discovery was in fact the explanation we gave him at the time...

I have only been using X4 for less than a week.
Holidays got in the way of the new launch date and subsequently any posts so didn’t see the ones you mentioned.

Editing is going well, no crashes to date, not that I expected any.
I am having a little problem with audio playback, in clip mode, sometimes it just doesn’t play sound.
Working with DV-Avi which shouldn’t give any problems. I will keep a watch on other edits I am applying to the clips, maybe there a common link.
