Hi all
I'm racing against time with a project and have hit a brick wall.
When creating a video file the preview window freezes in the same spot repeatedly (72%) but the output keeps clicking along until 94% then everything shuts down. I'm at a loss. If you guys have an answer great but if I have to resort to an uninstall/install will I still be able to use the .vsp file from the uninstalled program or have I lost everything?
Thanks
Grant

Yes, you can use your .vsp file over and over if you need to.I have done a few xp reinstalls while I've had a project going and as long as I keep my original captured mpeg file or files I can reuse my .vsp file. You just click on the .vsp file once you have videostudio open and it should load but it will ask you where everything is like mpegs, stills, music, etc. You just relink it all.

Sorry, grant9954, but I don't think I can help you with your initial problem.
I would make sure all of your running programs were shut down and if you receive automatic downloads for antivirus and such I would turn those off as well.Have you tried going right to the "create disk" stage instead of making an mpeg first?I know it's not in the "recommended procedure" but it's worked for me. Other than that, I'm afraid you'll have to wait for another user to chime in.Sorry.Good luck.
