VS9 resets on playing MPEG

VS9 restarts my computer when in Disc/Create I open an MPEG movie via autoplay.
It does it too when later I preview the DVD in the pseudo player if moving menu is selected.
That means it doesn't like to play mpegs in a thumbnail.
AVI files are OK. I know it's me and not VS9 because another computer does not do it, but don't know where to look.
Somebody can relate that to a known piece of my Software?

Oh and by the way the fun is when I add an mpg to the Videos Library, it plays OK while the Dialog looks to be the same exact window...
