Missing transitions in VSx4 Pro

Post by lpanek »

Video Studios 12 Pro had 14 flashback transitions. When upgraded to VS X3 Pro and now to VS X4 Pro noticed that there is only 1 flashback transition. Is there some way to copy the transitions from VS 12 to VS X14 Pro ?

Welcome to the forums.. :)

If you look at the customization for the Flashback, you'll see they managed to incorporate the majority of those into this single transition thumbnail. Fire up VS X2, drop a couple of images into the time-line, and drag the first Flashback transition (FB1) to the time-line. Now click on the Customize button, and look at the dialog. I promise you that all of those FB transitions in VS X2 are in VS X4...;)

Flashback in VS X4.. Looks very much like the above from VS X2..

(My apologies if this particular problem has been addressed).

I have VSPro X4 14.2.0.23 and can only find 3 transitions. The help file says there are 16. Has anyone else seen this behavior? I put in a support request to Corel - got instructions to remove original installation and download a new version (http://www.corel.com/akdlm/6763/downloa ... bal_PF.exe) and reinstall. This did not solve the problem.

Your screen shot shows that you only have the "my favorites" library pane open - click on the downward pointing small white arrow next to the words 'my favorites' and a drop down will allow you to access the library panes for many more transitions.

Brian,

Oops! Many thanks for the tip - glad this forum supports screen shots.
