Re: X3 is really a mess... when will be fixed?
Have now used X3 Ultimate on 2 different machines and have experienced the same problem on both. It constantly locks up especially when I am trying to contrast and brightness adjustments and also noise removal. Have downloaded all patches and have those installed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the problem still happens. What's the best fix?

You may try starting PSP X3, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc, navigate to the Processes tab, find MediaCataloger and end the process. I've gone so far as to find the program and rename it so that PSP won't start with it running.WanaM3 wrote:Have now used X3 Ultimate on 2 different machines and have experienced the same problem on both. I have similar problems. Edititing pics, fine till adjusting color or blackness. Then locks up. Sometimes get Runtime errors. Runtime
has been updated, fullly reinstalled. Clean install.
Also have Win7 64bit.SP1. Laptop has PSP X3 Ultimate with Vista 64bit. No problem.
Do we need and update for Win7 64bit SP1? Have all 4 updates for X3 so far.
Crash city. May uninstall X3 and install X2 to test.
Have similar problems. Win 7 64bit. SP1. Crashes when ever doing advanced photo edititing.
Laptop with Vista 64bit. and X2 Ulitmate has no problem.
May try that program on my desktop.
Seems like problem started with Win 7 SP1 update.
