i have had vs4 installed and its been working fine until i started using the transition (album).
When i playback transition or project when it plays the transition it slows down, much more than normal. then freezes everything and top bar of video studio says vs not responding, it will hang like that for about 20 seconds and then pop back like everything is normal until i click on the album transition or playback project, then it goes to not responding and sometimes crashes vs.
It seems to be only the album transition, i replaced the album transition with some video fx and crossfade and everything appears to be fine.
I have no external devices connected, no video in project. Titles, jpeg's, transitions and music (mp3) is all thats in the project. All files in project are on drive C:/
Can anyone suggest a solution.
Thanks
Doug

Re: VSPROX4 Not Responding
I am afraid the Album transition(s) have been a major problem since they first appeared. So bad that Corel have whittled them down in number from about 10 or 12 to what you have now. I confess I have not tried it in X4. Some of them always worked for me, but not for others. I realise this is not much help, but if you can forget about that transition, all the better. Use something else that works, including, if you have them, other software transition packages which include similar templates...

Re: VSPROX4 Not Responding
thats a bummer, i am putting together a project with 60 year old photos and the album sets a nostalgic feel to it.

Re: VSPROX4 Not Responding
The more you have in a project, the more that VS has to put together "on the fly" for a preview. That could be some of your problem with the slow down/crashing.Titles, jpeg's, transitions and music (mp3) is all thats in the project.
What happens if you do a project just with the pics and the album transition? If you can get thru that ok then render that to a video file, start a new project, insert that video file as a clip, then add your titles, music, etc.
