I have looked all over the net and while X4 promises support for future AMD Fusion series CPU's......it does not specifically mention ATI Stream which is the Advanced Parallel Processing ability ATI offers right now for linking GPU and CPU for maximum render/encode/decode speed. It is similar to nVidia's CUDA technology which IS specifically mentioned.
I am pretty much an ATI guy----but I like VideoStudio....
Am curious if anyone knows if X4 offers support specifically to the ATI Stream technology.
Some of the ArcSoft stuff I have played with does offer support for ATI Stream and the performance gains are noticeable and render quality excellent. PowerDirector 9 also offers that support----unfortunately, I can't get that program to even open properly to test LOL----seems buggy as HECK....

Re: VideoStudio Pro X4 and ATI Stream
It doesn't support it for encoding. They only support Nvidia CUDA for that. It does however use the GPU for decoding / playback.
Now using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
