Camera RAW picture conversion in X3

Post by vinniel21 »

I have Corel Paintshop Pro X3, and I have what I hope will be an easy question.

I want to bring a RAW file in, then convert and save it as it was brought in, except as a TIFF -- with no change to the color, etc. Will clicking the Reset button give me an unaltered RAW file?

I like the editing settings inside the program, and just want it to give me as close an approximation to the original as possible.

Thanks for your help.

Hello vinniel21,

I'm not sure if you are referring to the RESET button on the Raw file lab but if you are... the reset button will reset the settings to their original values.

Fore more info on the Raw file lab. You can visit: http://product.corel.com/help/photopro/ ... /raw3.html

I see what you mean.

The Scenerio says "As shot" on the page that you directed me to. Does that mean that, at this point, the image shown has just been brought in to PSP without any modification by the filter sliders?

Thanks for your reply!

I think that I figured it out. Hit Edit but not Apply. Seems to pass the RAW data on through without modifying it. I guess.
