Capture Format in VideoStudio Pro X4

Is it possible to Capture in MPEG FORMAT with Pro X4?

It was possible with Pro X2 but not with Pro X3.

Hi

The option to choose Mpeg and manually select the capture properties was not available in the last version X3, nor it seems for X4

But selecting the DVD format will capture to Mpeg2 DVD compliant settings.
There are some templates available via the “options” cogwheel, allows you to select a preset bitrate will allow for smaller file sizes and therefore more video per hour.

Yes, it is possible.

You can use use the DVD NTSC LPCM HQ 16_9 Profile when you're in the CAPTURE > OPTIONS > VIDEO PROPERTIES..

then TEMPLATE tab.

After clicking on OK you will see the new Properties of the video that wil be capture.
