MF - Music starts to repeat at end of slideshow

I just upgraded from MF5 to MF7 - got all the patches, etc. I am using a brand new laptop that uses Windows 7 Home Prem version. I've not had this issue with previous slideshow DVDs I've made. The bottom line is that at the end of the slideshow, the music I have timed with the photos starts to repeat... It's just the first couple of notes of the music, but I don't want that - I just want the movie to stop when the slideshow is over.

i've tried different file types (wav, mp3), I've also tried eliminating some of the photos so that there aren't too many photos for the single play of the music. However, none of this has helped.

This is not happening on all slideshows - currently i'm working on 4 slideshows and this is happening with 2 of those 4.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix this issue?

that happened to me too. I was bringing mp3's into Windows Movie Maker to trim the blank areas off the ends for my slideshows, then I'd import the whole thing as one song.
I had to extend the trim out a bit on the last song in W. movie maker to avoid the repeat in Movie Factory Pro 7.
that worked -- probably a bit late for you tho, eh?
