I have downloaded the TBYB version of X4. I have just burned a DVD but with a very limited choice of menu templates (5 in all). Is this because it is a trial version and if I bought the full version would more templates appear?
Also the additional content that I have downloaded I am not sure what to do with. I know about the Instant Project templates and can access them accordingly but the other things like: 5panels, 70s etc. What are they?
Thanks for any help.

Yes, the extra menus and other auxiliary stuff were left out for space reasons. When you purchase it, you will be given two extra URL links to download that extra content.
And I thought the things like 5panels, 70s were part of the Project Template package...

Re: VS Pro X4
Thank you for your reply Ken. I just didn't know where they should live on my computer. I have put them in a folder within VSX4 in My Documents. Is there a way I can save VS X4 on to a disc. The TBYB version is installed on my computer but unfortunately I didn't save it to a disc when I downloaded it. I don't want to buy it unless I can resinstall it should I need to. Perhaps I should get the boxed version which is out next week.

If you buy a down load of the full version then yes you can copy that to disc and re-install whenever you need to - just make sure that when you are doing the downloading you choose 'Save' rather than 'Run' in the download dialogue box - this will put the download in a folder which you can copy to a disc for future use - remember that the full programme consists of three separate downloads so make sure you save all three files to disc. after downloading and saving you can then run them one at a time to install
You can download the TBYB version as many times as you like - If you want to put it on a disc just download it again - BUT - be aware the trial has a 30 day limit from the date of the first install on your computer - the trial leaves a marker deep in your PC the first time you load it, so it is no good thinking you can remove it and re-install it in a couple of months time - even if you download the trial again complete in a couple of months it will not install on a computer which has already had a trial on it - you cannot go on forever just downloading and using trials - or keep re-installing from a disc.
