Blu ray 1280X720 spec

Post by pepegota »

Do you know if the VS Pro X4 gives a 1280X720 resolution or does it still hold to the upper resolutions of 1920X1080 and 1440X1080?
Is there any customization allowed, bit rates as well?

You can certainly output 1280 x 720 at 50/60p in X4, but not in Blu-Ray format, which is still limited, as you suggest, to 1920 x 1080i, 1440 x 1080i and 720 x 480/576i. It does not have output in 1920 x 1080 at 24p either as far as I can see.
