Batch Convert question

I'm trying to convert a AVI file into a MPEG using the Ulead MPEG Encoder.

When I used VS 8 the encoded MPEG files looked very much like the AVI source files. Now VS 9 keeps turning my full screen AVI files into a widescreen MPEG's and I'm not sure why or how to turn it off.

I'm usingXP

1 gig memory
Althon 2600

The 16:9 switch is on the initial Startup screen. If this screen does not appear when you load VS9, look at the options in: File, Preferences, General.
