I trying to burn a DVD, my project is about 75 minutes long. I'm being told it won't fit on the DVD. With the VS12 version the software would adjust the project and make it fit. How can I do that with this version?
Please help!
Thanks
Don

Re: NEW to VS13 Won't fit DVD
The amount of video which can fit on a DVD is regulated by the bitrate you used. I am assuming you just went to Share > Create Disc > DVD. If so, then the default template which is used has a bitrate of 8000 kbps, which will only allow a maximum of an hour on a single layer DVD. So instead, you have to go to Share > Create Disc > Custom and alter the bitrate to 7000 kbps. This will still give you very good quality but allow the extra video. You can also create more room by using one of the compressed audio formats, like Dolby rather than the standard LPCM.
