Does the boxed version come with a manual or are they going on the cheap

Does a manual come with the boxed version, or are they going on the cheap again?

What I've been told, is that the boxed version comes with a full manual, a getting started guide, and 3D glasses. Until someone gets there hands on a boxed version we will not know if it is a brochure type manual/guide or what..

Ron is correct the box will "initially" contain "printed full manual, a getting started guide, 3D glasses and of course the installation disc" of course this can change anytime.

Thank goodness for the link given by Jeff; it was the only link I could find searching both Google and Corel's site. It did take me to an X4 manual but it was not downloadable. Why is it assumed we will always have a connection available?

In its web format I found it very hard to use. Searching for Painting Creator, which was a part of X3 produced nothing. When will Corel realise how valuable a comprehensive but simple to use manual can be. It would make VS a useful tool rather than a tricky computer game.

Is it time for a wish list for VS15 [we have passed 13 and can go back to real numbers now].

Peter - I do not understand your comment about the X4 manual not being downloadable - I have just downloaded it.

As it is a .pdf file which opens in your browser you need to look to the icons just along the top of the window - clicking the second from the left (click to save a copy of this file to your computer) will download the file and put it wherever you want it.

I also downloaded it and it is a pdf file. So you will need something like Acrobat or Read It, etc. to download it I believe. Not a problem to download it.

I think my ability to download was a function of our current abysmal internet connection. I tried on 2 computers yesterday and got various error messages but, after reading your posts, persevered this morning and, after a few attempts, have a copy now. I think I misdirected my frustration.

I recieved my box version yesterday complete with glasses and manual, but I notice the manual is getting smaller in size with every release. This one measures 120 x 170 but at least I can just about read the print without my glasses!!

I've been trying to DnLd the X4 Manual for a couple days, but the product.corel.com is DEAD. I can't use ANYTHING off of that Server!!!
