Corel DVD Factory 2010 - multible discs ??

Post by gaardmand »

Hi.
Not sure where this topic belongs...But better safe than sorry :)
I'm done editing my first movie using Videostudio X3 Pro. I want to create a DVD using Corel DVD Factory 2010 that comes with VS.
I've got 4,4GB space on my blank DVD but my movieproject is 5,6 GB. How can I make DVD Factory 2010 split the movie on to 2 DVDs.

Best Regards

How long is your video(s)? What bitrate did you use? The latter (bitrate) is going to help determine the duration that can fit onto a DVD. There's nothing in DVD Factory 2010 that I'm aware of, that will split it over multiple discs. DVD Factory 2010 is a very basic, template driven program. I don't think that DVD MovieFactory can do what you're wanting to do.

If you can drop the bitrate down enough, you might be able to fit your entire project onto one disc. If not, you may have to create 2 separate videos in VS X3 from your project, and then burn each one to a disc.
