Welcome to the forums, :)

Is VS X3 crashing when you first launch it? If not what specifically are you doing when it crashes? If you are editing at the time, we need to know the properties of any video files being used, any separate audio files, ect..

Have you installed any patches? If so which ones?

Thank you for your reply. I just downloaded it yesterday so I'm guessing there arent any patches. I am editing MOV files and after I added a title that's when it crashed. I really don't know alot about this stuff yet. I have alot of movies on tape and just recently purchased a new camcorder and would like to get them on DVD. I was working with a file I took off my digital camera.

I am having a very similar problem with Ulead Video Studio 11. I'm trying to put a project together using a number of MOV clips from my son's iPhone.

If I select a thumbnail in the library and play it as a clip it seems fine. If I pull it into the time line and play it as a clip it seems fine. But, as soon as I click on Project and start to play it, that is when it crashes with the faulting module "Core AudioToolbox.dll" The same thing happens if, having played it ok as a clip in the timeline I then add another clip and try to play them both.

Any suggestions please?

Hi Guys

CoreAudioToolbox.dll not found has to do with Apple Quicktime.

1. Go to Control Panel---> Add/Remove Programs--->uninstall quicktime
2. Go to www.quicktime.com and download a new QT 7.7.4 (or whatever is the lastest).
3. Install QT onto your computer and retry.

No, unfortunately Robert, that did not work. D/loaded and installed the latest QT, which was 7.7.4 but it has made no difference.

My feeling is that Video Studio 11 does not play well with Apples' MOV files. I tried converting them to MPEG4 but they didn't show up in the folder. Which MPEG version does Studio 11 handle?

VS 11 was probably released before iPhones were, so it's likely that it will never work with the files from them.
Why not download the trial version of VSX6 and see if you have more luck with that?
You can run them both side by side.
