Capturing TV footage with ULVS10

Post by rickduley »

I have VS10. In the manual (p.52) there is talk of capturing TV footage. Unfortunately, there is no information on how to connect the TV to the PC. The only connection my TV (Sanyo LCD-24XR10F) and my PC (ASUS P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard) have in common is USB2.0. Will VS10 read from digital TV to PC via USB?

You would normally capture tv footage via a tv-in connection on your graphics card, or a dedicated capture device.
I doubt the USB2 connection on the tv is an out connection for a tv signal, most are for plugging in things like memory sticks to play from, but hey, it may be worth trying, or reading the tv manual. I also doubt that VS10 will pick up this signal if it does exist.
