Kind of disappointed in PhotoImpact X3
While I'm sure it does many things 12 could not, I thought maybe there would be more things I could use, such as more frames, more stamps and more fill in graphics...it looks just like 12 as far as those things go? Is there anywhere online where you can download more picture frames?

Re: Kind of disappointed in PhotoImpact X3
Welcome to the forums Laura,
I have PI versions 11-X3. They all appear very similar, however having some changes to the GUI. I guess the main change between 12 and X3, is Vista compatibility. As far as more goodies, no not really anymore with X3. However you do realize and understand that those frames for example can be fully customized. The idea is to provide a starting point, some ideas on what you can do. Start a new project, go to the Easy Palette, Galleries, Frames. Drag and drop one of the Classic frames onto your workspace. Then open the Layers manager, you'll see the background and Group 1. You can then ungroup it, select one of the objects, and make all sorts of changes, such as color and texture. You can remove, add other objects, basically taking one of the frame templates, and completely change it, making it a new one.
