not 60 sec. interval in timeline ???

Post by gaardmand »

Hi.
I'm new to Videostudio X3 Pro.
When I use the timeline everything goes from 00:00sec to 00:24sec then it gabs to 01:00 and so on.... Why is that and can I change it to use 60sec instead?
Please advise

Best regards
Svend Erik

In general video terms -- not just those of Video Studio -- a clock will show 00:00:00:00, which respectively shows hours:minutes:seconds:frames. So the final figure you are seeing (24) in fact represents frames per second. I assume you are in a PAL country, so the next number will indicate you have reached the limit of 25 frames per second, which is the normal frame rate for PAL. In NTSC countries, it is 29.97 fps. It is the second last set of figures which are the seconds, and there continue to be 60 of them in every minute!
