Can't install because of this error

Can't install because of this error
I have a Dell Studio 1749 laptop and it came with Corel PainShop Pro X3. Everytime I begin to install (BTW what is DemoSheild?) I get "current display is lower--etc.) so it WILL NOT allow an install. My 'puter has the highest display!! This error is totaly not applicable! Is this "freebie" that came with my laptop only a demo? I DID install this on my olde desktop that has Win XP SP3 and it works just fine!! What is wrong with getting this into my new laptop??? Love, Diane

If you have a pre-installed PSP X3 on your computer, you may want to adjust the screen resolution. If you have set it to the highest settings, please change and lower it down to 1024 x 768 (24-bit color) also make sure you select SMALLER - 100% (default).
