Hi
A friend gave me an SD card of her wedding to tidy up and put onto a DVD. The format is MPG-4. The clips play fine but as soon as I put it all onto onto the time-line I get the odd jump on panning of the camera, which are not there on the clips. I know this can relate to the project settings and I have played around with these, adjusting the bit rate up and down.
Anyone have any ideas or the exact project settings for MPEG-4 H.264 Baseline Profile Video. Its ready to burn to DVD if I can get rid of this frame jump.
Regards to all

Re: Frame jump on MPEG-4 panning shots
The "frame jump" you see may be due to your pc not powerful enough to play the video. You have not filled in your equipment so can't tell for sure, but I am pretty certain your pc is at fault, and not VS. You could create the file, and play out of VS to see if the "frame jumps" are still there... Al

sging2 -- can you please right click on one of the video clips in the VS timeline or library window, and copy ALL its properties here please. That way we will have a better idea of what exactly we are dealing with.
