I have the latest version of qucik player as this machine is only 1 week old
I have windows 7 Home Premium, and Intel core i7 cpu and its 64 bit
Please help!

And another unfortunate truth is that different computers use different types of BIOS, so once you have gotten into yours, just search through the different tabs until you see 'Hyperthreading', and it should be Enabled. Toggle that to Disable, then save and exit BIOS and start the computer up again. The klutzy thing about this solution is that you would need to do it each time you used X3, unless you leave hyperthreading permanently disabled. But it is a key feature associated with the i7, and it's probably not a good idea to deny other programs its benefits.Here is is listing of some of the key combinations used to enter the BIOS setup on startup. You must do this during the first few seconds after you turn on power. If you see the windows startup, it's too late.
