Lost audio

I have put a video clip into video studio pro and when i watch the clip i hear the audio, but as soon as i watch the whole project the clip is silent. I have just started using this so am probably overlooking something simple, can anyone help? Also i've checked the clip isn't muted. Thanks in advance!
